Meet Stacy

Stacy Thompson, owner & principal designer of Compass Design, LLC in Indianapolis, IN, has over 18 years of experience in the field of interior design and remodeling, as well as a Bachelor's in Interior Design. Featured in Sophisticated Living, Elle Decor, Absolute Living, Homefront, Indianapolis Monthly, Professional Remodeler, and Interiors Midwest showcasing her fresh, chic, yet comfortable approach to interiors.  Stacy is known for her Mix Master signature style creating spaces that mix patterns, textures, finishes, and pieces to define her clients personality and meet their needs.  Stacy has a passion for utilizing local resources, artists, and artisans to source unique pieces that speak to the creative vision for her clients.  Her expertise and education provide clients service at a highly professional level, with a very personal touch. 

Stacy participates in the longest running Show House in the United States. which raises money for a local charity, has sat on advisory boards for professional organizations and universities, and served as a board member and committee chairperson for the local chapter of ASID, 

With over 300 vendors & countless resources, Stacy and her team execute projects that range from boutique commercial to residential of any size.  The Compass team enjoys working on projects of all different types and strives to achieve an exclusive look for each. 

Stacy lives in Carmel, IN and enjoys spending time with her two amazing little girls and equally creative husband.  Some of Stacy's favorites include anything chinoiserie, hydrangeas, leopard print, painting, drawing, and creating, has a passion for historic homes, and finds working in her garden relaxing and rejuvenating. Spending some of her childhood in the South, and an early start to her career on the East Coast, Stacy has a connection to classic architecture and design, with a fresh feel.
